Taking his stardom to TikTok, Messi’s MLS playoff debut was a huge success. Inter Miami though haven’t appeared on the scoresheet yet, they have made a historic night by reaching beyond the pitch, as the Argentinian star bought thousands of viewers to livestream on TikTok.
The La Pulga’s every move was on display, each touch, each shot attempt, even if he was not even near the ball, Messi was featured on screen.

This was all bought into reality by using a “Messi-cam” that had focused on the Inter Miami superstar throughout the match which ended in 2-1 over Atlanta United on Friday night.
Ever since joining the club midway through the 2023 season, Messi’s presence has brought a fresh wave of popularity to Inter Miami. With no doubt, the commentators can now call the team, owned by David Beckham, the “best” in MLS history.
Major League Soccer, following the conclusion of the MLS regular season, announced that they would be live-streaming a Messi-focused broadcast during their match against Atlanta this week, mainly focusing on the 8-time Ballon d’Or winner’s every move during the match.
As per the 18.com report, Messi had garnered over 125,000 concurrent live viewers during the live stream with millions of fans around the world tuning in to watch the Argentine take on his first ever MLS playoff game.
Leo had ended the season with 20 goals and 16 assists. Alongside, his teammate Luis Suarez also had netted 20 goals, making them the first MLS duo to reach the mark within a single season.

Though he hasn’t scored against Atlanta, Leo had opened up multiple scoring chances, including two back-to-back attempts that Atlanta goalkeeper Brad Guzan had saved.
