Dubai, United Arab Emirates: In UAE first robot wedding, Dubai’s most famous robot, Bu Sunaidah has tied the knot to his other half on August 1. Though the wedding’s  physical location has not been made public, the event was staged as a cultural entertainment showcase rather than an official legal ceremony.

Dressed in traditional Emirati local attire, the humanoid humanoid robot got married to his half. The bride, a Unitree G1s, a highly agile mass-produced humanoid robot, appeared in a black abaya with gold trim.

The event saw men in kandura standing either side of her.
