Tech mogul Elon Musk’s X platform experienced a brief outage which lasted less than an hour and was backed up later on Saturday as per Downdetector. According to Reuters’, there were over 8,200 reports in the US by 11:01 AM ET and the cause of the outage remains unknown. The X Platform has not yet responded to Reuters requests for comment. This is not the first time X has experienced outages, as it faced several disruptions this year and last year as well.
According to the Indian Downdetector website, only 260 users reported issues and Timeline tried accessing the X but didn’t find any issues logging into the app showing no indication of an outage. However, various users have commented that they encountered errors while logging into their profiles.

It was said that the X platform created troubles in the US as they were not able to access the app. As per the reports, at least 9% of users from other countries stated that they faced disruptions while logging in to the X.

In December 2023, users worldwide experienced a strange anomaly on the social media platform X both the website and mobile application showed a cryptic message that read ‘Welcome to your timeline instead of displaying the usual tweets in their feed.

According to Reuters, the acquisition of the social media platform by Elon Musk for $44 billion was followed by a period of significant upheaval and substantial layoffs as the departure of many technical engineers has been forecasted as an issue faced by the X platform.
