The sale of the much-awaited POCO M6 5G smartphone has started, and it is now available for purchase via Flipkart. The Chinese smartphone maker introduced the budget-friendly M6 5G in India last week. POCO claims that this device is the “most affordable 5G phone ever.’
The Poco M6 5G, which is the successor of the Poco M5, is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC and runs on an Android 13-based MIUI 14 custom skin out of the box. This budget smartphone features a 6.74-inch display with support for a 90Hz refresh rate. Also, it has a peak brightness of 600 nits alongside Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
In terms of camera, the device features a 50 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP secondary sensor. The smartphone also includes a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The front camera is placed in a centred waterdrop notch at the top of the display. The smartphone, which weighs 195 grams, is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W wired charging support. It also includes a Type-C port for charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Poco M6 5G will be available in two colour options: Orion Blue and Galactic Black.
The Poco M6 5G is available for purchase in three variants. This includes 4GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage, and 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage. While the 4GB variant is priced at Rs 10,499, the 6GB version is available for Rs 11,499. Meanwhile, the 8GB RAM with 256GB of storage variant arrived with a price tag of Rs 13,499.
