Samsung, the South Korean brand launched its affordable Samsung Galaxy M05 on Thursday which is the newest entrant to the Galaxy M series. The M05 features a 6.7-inch LCD screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution along with a 50 MP camera that is suitable for basic activities like watching videos and browsing the web. The new Galaxy M05, Android phone will get two OS updates and four years of security patches.

The Galaxy M05 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset which provides decent performance for everyday tasks. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of onboard storage and can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card slot and 5000mAh+ 25W charging capacity. However, it lacks 5G connectivity which may be a drawback for some users. Despite this, the phone offers good value for its price of Rs 7,999. For 5G connectivity, Samsung’s new Galaxy M35 5G could be a better option for Rs 19,998.

Earlier this month, Samsung its another affordable model Samsung Galaxy A06 smartphone.  The new model comes with an array of features like an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 chipset along with a 6.7-inch HD+ screen. This budget-friendly model carries a pinstriped finish just like the preceding Samsung Galaxy A05. It also features an island bump in the area of the power and volume buttons. The New Galaxy A06 is priced at Rs 9,999 without a charger.
