Vivo is reportedly planning to unveil the Vivo X100 series smartphones in China around mid-November. The Vivo X100 series smartphones are photography-focused flagship devices. The Vivo X100 series will be the successor to the Vivo X90 series, launched last year in November. The new lineup is expected to have three models, including the Vivo X100, Vivo X100 Pro, and Vivo X100 Pro+.
As per the recent leaks, the Vivo X100 and the X100 Pro are equipped with a Dimensity 9300 SoC, and the X100 Pro+ may arrive with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Dimensity 9300 SoC-powered smartphones are expected to deliver similar performance as the recently launched Apple iPhone 15 Pro. The Vivo X100 Pro+ may also pack a 50MP ultra-wide rear camera and a 200MP telephoto lens. Other models in the lineup may add an IMX663 ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel periscope zoom camera.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro are likely to have a 5,100mAh battery, and the X100 Pro+ might include a 5,400mAh battery. Except for the Vivo X100, other devices may feature 50W wireless charging support. It should be noted that there were also reports that claimed that the X100 Pro+ would be announced only in the first quarter of 2024. The Vivo X90 series, with Dimensity 9200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPUs, was launched in China in 2022. Vivo introduced the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro in other markets, including India, in February 2024. The two devices offered a great flagship experience with top-notch specifications.
