In a social media post, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said that the armed force successfully targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with a ballistic missile, claiming that it accurately struck its target and disrupted airport operations.

The Saudi-backed and internationally recognised Yemeni government had announced a major counteroffensive against the Houthis, who are fighting government forces for control of additional territory.
