Israel Faces Pressure To Re-think Ground Invasion On Gaza. Netanyahu Adamant On "Crushing" Hamas

It has been days since Israel has deployed their soldiers on the borders all set for a massive ground invasion in to the Gaza Strip. As days passes, international pressure to call off the ground assault seems increasing. Since the bombing at Al Ahli Arab hospital in Gaza Strip which claimed the lives of more than 500 Palestinians, and the most ferocious air rides practiced on the innocent civilians of Gaza which killed more than 700 civilians within 24 hours, the equation of support for Israel’s “right to defend themselves” has started taking slight slanting in directions that the occupation force do not appreciate.

In a press conference, United States President Joe Biden said that while he did nit “demanded” Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu to delay the ground invasion to free more hostages from the captive of Hamas, he said he “indicated” to Mr. Netanyahu about the issue and asked if possible, should do it.

President of France, Emmanuel Macron has called for the two-state solution to be the only possible way to end the war and said that “Hamas does not represent the Palestinian people”. According to NDTV, Mr. Macron has also said that the massive ground invasion would prove to be a “mistake” as the diplomatic efforts to avert the conflagration of war is intensifying.

Earlier, it was only the Arab countries who were calling for a two-states solutions, but now Biden and macron has stressed the need to identify the situation and the immediate need to provide humanitarian aid to the distressed people of Gaza. In the press conference, Mr. Biden said that Israelis and Palestinians equally deserve to live side by side in safety, dignity and in peace”.

Russia warned that the ground invasion could “risk provoking even greater-scale conflict in the region beyond” and criticised that United States does not United Nation Security Council to vouch for ceasefire.

Despite the warnings, Israeli occupation force is adamant about executing the ground invasion. Benjamin Netanyahu, said their only motive is to crush Hamas and will not stop until that goal is achieved.

Israel Defence Force has shared a footage of shooting shooting down “terrorists” who tried to infiltrate in to Israel as an “attempt to murder Israeli civilians”.

IDF has also claimed that in the northern Gaza, “IDF tanks & infantry struck numerous terrorist cells, infrastructure and anti-tank missile launch posts.

The bloody air ride practiced by the Israeli occupation force has so far claimed the lives of around than 6500 civilians of Gaza.
