Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Vows To ‘Pursue And Kill’ Netanyahu Amid Assassination Rumours

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a strong warning against Benjamin Netanyahu, saying they would “pursue and kill” the Israeli leader.

The statement comes amid widespread rumours on social media claiming that Netanyahu had been assassinated.

In a statement published on its website, Sepah News, the Iranian Guards described Netanyahu as a “child-killing criminal” and vowed to eliminate him. “If this child-killing criminal is alive, we will continue to pursue and kill him with full force,” the statement said.

However, the office of the Israeli Prime Minister quickly dismissed the claims about Netanyahu’s death.

Officials clarified that the reports circulating online were false and misleading, and confirmed that the Israeli leader is safe.

The rumours began spreading after a video posted on Netanyahu’s account on the social media platform X showed what appeared to be the prime minister with six fingers, leading some users to speculate that the clip had been manipulated using artificial intelligence.

The claims were later debunked by Grok, which explained that the unusual appearance was simply a visual illusion and not evidence of an AI-generated video.

Social media speculation also intensified after users noticed that Netanyahu’s son, Yair Netanyahu, had not posted on X for several days, triggering rumours of a “family tragedy”. However, there has been no confirmation of such claims.

The latest threat from Iran comes at a time of already heightened tensions between Israel and Iran. Relations between the two countries have been extremely strained since the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel, which Israel blamed on the Iran-backed militant group Hamas.

Since then, both countries have exchanged threats and military actions through proxies and direct strikes in the region. The conflict intensified further after joint military operations involving the United States and Israel targeted Iranian interests.
