Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday reaffirmed India’s political stand of supporting Israel amid the strengthening Israel-Hamas tensions. Mr Modi received a call from his Israel counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu describing the prevailing conditions in the Jewish country following the unprecedented ‘surprise’ attack by the Islamic resistance movement Hamas.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Mr Modi said that India stands with Israel in its “difficult hour’’. The Indian Prime Minister also denounced all the forms of terrorism and stated that, “India strongly and unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its formats and manifestation”.
