AHSEC Announces Assam 12th Result 2024, Overall Pass Percentage Is 88.64%The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has announced the Assam class 12th result today, May 9 at 9 AM. Students can visit the official website resultassam.nic.in and ahsec.assam.gov.in to check their results.
Overall 273908 students appeared for the exams and 242794 students have cleared the class 12th exam this year with an 88.64% pass percentage. The pass percentage for arts, science, commerce, and voc was 88.24%, 90.29%, 88.28%, and 85.78% respectively.
Girls outperformed boys with 142,732 girls and 139,486 boys clearing the class 12th exams. Baksa district emerged as the top-performing district with an overall 97.44% pass percentage. Nalbari and Darrang are also other top performing districts with a 97.3% and 96.59% pass percentage.
A total of 72,925 students achieved first division, 91,106 and 78691 got second and third division respectively.
Students can also check the result via SMS and the mobile app ‘Upolobdha’.
Candidates who wish to get a photocopy of their answer scripts may apply online at the portal. The portal to apply for the photocopy will open after 10 days from the declaration of results. Moreover, candidates who are not satisfied with their results may apply for rechecking after 2 days from the announcement of the result.
