IGNOU Offers PG Diploma Programs For Career Advancement Of Working Professionals
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is known for its distance learning programs which students avail from distant places along with pursuing their careers as well. In this sequence of programs, the open university has started offering admission to 57 Post Graduate Diploma Programs in various fields. These courses are specially designed to enhance knowledge and career prospects for graduates, including working professionals who meet the eligibility criteria.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the July 2024 session as the application window is open and has been extended till July 31, 2024. Candidates can apply online by going to the IGNOU admission portal.
These courses are unique as many of these PG Diploma programs offer flexibility to the students by providing them different learning options such as by giving them Multiple Entry and Exit Options. Students can transition from these courses to other courses in the same discipline. For instance, a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication (PGJMC) student can transition into a full Master’s degree course in the same discipline.
These PG Diploma Programs include well-sought-after fields of study including Human Resource Management and Marketing Management courses that can be further pursued as part of a comprehensive Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in the chosen area. Other programs that are unique include Animal Welfare, Sustainability Science and many other similar popular courses.
