IGNOU Opens Admissions For January 2025 Session For ODL Courses

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has initiated admissions for its January 2025 Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes session. Students aspiring to pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, certificate, and doctoral courses can apply through the university’s online admission portal. The last date for application submission is January 31, 2025.

Admissions for the January 2025 session are available for a wide range of ODL programmes. The re-registration process for continuing students started on December 2, 2024, and will continue until January 31, 2025.

Candidates can apply for these courses online through the official IGNOU admission portal – ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. The application process involves filling out the form with personal and academic details, paying the required fees, and submitting the form.

IGNOU offers over 200 courses across multiple disciplines, including, UG, PG, diploma, and certificate courses. Most admissions are based on the candidates’ final marks in their qualifying exams. However, certain courses, such as B.Ed, MPhil, PhD and Post-Basic BSc Nursing, require candidates to appear for entrance exams.
