The CBSE announced class 10th and class 12th results for 22,38,827 and 16,21,224 students who appeared for the session 2023-24 on May 13. The result is available on the CBSE board”s official website. Links to access the CBSE class 10th and 12th result are given on the homepage.
As per the CBSE announcement, the examination is called as the “Mega Examination – 2024”. The board said that the number of students appearing for the CBSE examination is increasing every year. The CBSE is the only board that conducts the examination of 200 subjects and over 4000 question papers were prepared for these subjects.
This year the exam was conducted in 7603 and 7126 centres for class 10th and 12th spread across the country for an overall 18417 schools.
A 21,56,520 number of total invigilators were deployed to oversee the examination in different centres. As per the CBSE information, 1,43768 evaluators were used to evaluate the 2, 58, 78, 230 board exam copies this year. More than 1 lakh persons were used for assistance in examination and evaluation.
According to the data furnished by the CBSE this years the board organised the biggest examination on a single day. In Class X (SSE) board exams nearly 22,62,692 students opted for Science, Mathematics and Social Science. The board conducted exams for these subjects on 3 different dates at 7612 examination centers and 94279 rooms. A total of 1,88,558 invigilators oversaw these biggest examination held for 3 days. Apart from the class X board exams, exmainations of 01 and 02 subjects of Class 12th alongside Mathematics and Social Science were also conducted on the same day.
