CBSE Class 10th Result: JNV, Kendriya Vidyalaya Top With Best Performance

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 10th board exam results. The CBSE Class 10th board exams were held from February 15 to March 18, 2025. Students can access them via official websites, SMS, IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System), Umang App, and DigiLocker.

This year again, Jawahar Nayodaya Vidhyalaya (JNV) and Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) secured the highest institution-wise pass percentage with 99.49% and 99.45% respectively. Independent schools secured a good pass rate with 94.17% followed by STSS with 91.53% and Govt schools with 89.26%. The CBSE class 10th pass percentage remained lowest in government-aided schools with an overall 83.94%.

CBSE Class 10th result: Other highlights

  • Delhi West and Delhi East have again secured a high pass rate this year with 95.24% and 95.07%.
  • 1.99 lakh students (8.43%) secured marks 90% above, and 45516 students (1.92%) have secured marks above 95%.
  • Girls outperform boys with an overall 2.37%. Transgender students secure a 95% pass rate, which is 4% higher than the previous year.
  • Trivandrum, Vijaywada, and Bengaluru among top three cities with 99.79%, 99.79%, and 98.90%.
  • Overall, 93.66% of students secured success in the 10th class CBSE board exams. His year, the overall pass percentage increased by 0.6%.
