Delhi Metro Announces Special Facilities For Students During CBSE Exams 2025
New Delhi: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation on Friday announced several students-friendly services at the metro stations during the CBSE Exam season 2025. The Metro declared that it is going to prioritise students in frisking and ticketing during the exams, which has been scheduled for Classes X and XII from February 15 to April 4, 2025.
Delhi Metro, in a post on its official X handle, said that the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, in partnership with the Central Industrial Security Force, is implementing special facilitation measures at metro stations to accommodate the increased footfall on examination days. The measures are meant to ensure smooth and hassle-free travel for students appearing for the exams.

The Metro listed out the facilitations it arranged for students carrying their CBSE admit cards. The measures include students carrying their CBSE admit cards will be given priority during security checks at metro stations and also while purchasing tickets at Ticket Office Machines (TOM) and Customer Care (CC) centers.
The DMRC said that its staff visited schools, interacted with principals, and informed them about the nearest metro stations and the support available for students. The Metro authorities have also requested schools to display posters providing details of the nearest metro station along with a QR code for easy ticket booking to assist students in planning their travel.

In addition, special centralised announcements will be made at metro stations, and a detailed list of metro stations closest to examination centers has also been uploaded on the DMRC website and official mobile application for easy reference, DMRC stated. The Metro authorities further urged students to plan their travel in advance.
