FT Global MBA 2025: IIM Lucknow Ranking Rise By 14 Places

IIM Lucknow continues to be ranked in FT-100, being 3rd amongst the IIMs and 4th amongst all B-schools in India. IIM Lucknow has an overall rank of 55 this year and a career progression rank of 42 amongst the FT -100 B schools.

IIM Lucknow’s International Programme in Management for Executives (IPMX-One Year MBA) has secured the 71st position in the FT Global MBA 2025 rankings in its top 100 list of B-Schools, announced on 17th February 2025, sharing this spot with Mannheim Business School, Germany.

This marks a significant rise of 14 places from last year, underscoring IIML’s continued excellence in global MBA education. IIM Lucknow ranks 13th in Asia, 6th among Indian B-Schools, and 5th among Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), reflecting its strong performance in key academic and career-related parameters.

Interestingly, as many as eight Indian B-Schools secured ranks in the FT MBA Rankings 2025. The Indian School of Business, Hyderabad emerged as the top Indian B-School with a global rank of 27, followed by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad which ranked 31.

Harvard Business School’s MBA program, meantime, plunged to its lowest FT rank ever. Reportedly, a quarter of the graduating class of MBAs failed to have jobs three months after graduation, contributed to the decline.
