JEE Counselling 2025 Round 2 Seat Allotment Result Announced
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the Round 2 seat allotment result for JoSAA Counselling 2025. Eligible candidates can go through the official website – josaa.nic.in to check their results. Now, candidates need to complete the online reporting process by June 29, 2025.
The deadline to pay the seat acceptance fee is June 29. Any payment-related issues must be resolved by June 30, and candidates must respond to queries by July 1.
Notably, the payment must be submitted before the deadline to secure the allotted seat and continue with the admission process.

Seat Acceptance Options
Students have three options for seat acceptance during the JoSAA counselling rounds.
- The ‘Freeze’ option enables candidates to accept the allotted seat and exit from further counselling rounds.
- The ‘Float’ option allows them to accept the current seat while remaining eligible for allotment in a more preferred course or institute in the subsequent rounds.
- The ‘Slide’ option enables students to retain their allotted institute but be considered for higher-preference courses within the same institute, if available in later rounds.
Seat Acceptance Process
- Candidates must visit the official JoSAA website – josaa.nic.in
- Login with the application number and password and access the payment section
- Select the online payment option, complete the transaction, and download the confirmation page for future reference
