JOSAA Issues Orientation And Class Commencement Schedule For IITs
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has issued the orientation and class commencement Schedule for the IITs in India. Students can visit the official website – josaa.nic.in to download the detailed schedule. The detailed schedule contains information about the Orientation, reporting and registration, and commencement of the classes for all the IITs.
Notably, the JOSAA round 4 allotment result has already been released by the authority, and students have been given time to submit all the necessary documents and pay the seat acceptance fee by 5 pm on July 9th, 2025.

The JEE Advanced 2025 results were released on June 2, 2025, and since then, 4 rounds of counselling have been held by the JOSAA for admission to different IITs.
In most of the IITs, the registration, orientation, and commencement of classes will start in the month of July and however, in a few IITs, including IIT Dharwad, IIT Gandhinagar, and IIT Indore, the commencement of classes will take place in August.

IIT Delhi
- Date of reporting at IIT Delhi: Monday, July 21, 2025
- Orientation / Induction program: Tuesday, July 22 – Wednesday, July 30, 2025
- Commencement of classes: Thursday, July 31, 2025.
IIT Bombay
- Arrival at IITB by 20-Jul-2025 (Sun)
- Orientation: 21-26 Jul 2025 (Mon-Sat)
