The CBSE class 12 results have been declared with an overall pass percentage of 87.98 percent registered this year. However, the standout numbers have been scored by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) and Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV), with both scoring about 10 percent more pass percentage than the national pass percentage.
JNV scored a pass rate of 98.9 percent this year, while last year it recorded a pass percentage of 97.51 percent. The KVs, however, recorded a significant improvement. Compared to last year’s 92.51 percent pass rate, the KVs scored a record of 98.91 percent, surpassing the national pass rate.
Across the top-performing regions, both JNVs and KVs secured higher pass percentages compared to last year. Notably, JNVs in Delhi East maintained a pass rate of 100 percent this year as well. Kendriya Vidyalayas in Pune jumped from an 85.88 pass percentage in 2023 to a whopping 97.79 percent this year, marking a substantial improvement.
With over 1,450,174 students passing in all subjects, the pass percentage witnessed a slight increase from last year’s 87.33 percent to 87.98 percent this year. A total of 1,630,730 students registered for the exams.
