The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell will start the online preference-filling form of NEET UG couselling today for Medical programs including MBBS and BDS. Those who have been shortlisted in the provisional merit list can fill out the choices at medical2024.mahacet.org.
The provisional merit list includes information about candidates’ NEET All India Rank (AIR), their names, genders, categories, NEET roll numbers, CET cell online form numbers, NRI statuses, and any special reservations. Under the provisional list issued for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BPTH, BOTH, BASLP, and B (P and O) programs, a total of 59,132 candidates have applied. Out of these candidates, 55,781 are eligible for admission to MBBS and BDS programs.
As per the NEET UG counselling schedule, registered candidates can fill in their choices from August 27 to August 29. The seat allotment result for round 1 will be issued on August 30.

The Maharashtra NEET counselling is being conducted online mode. The admission process will be completed in five to six steps including the declaration of merit list, seat matrix, registration, participation in counselling, and declaration of seat allotment result, followed by reporting to the institute and document verification.
Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 Counselling: How to check the provisional list
Step 1: Go to the official website of State CET – medical2024.mahacet.org.
Step 2: Candidates need to click the link for ‘Provisional Merit List of Registered Candidates for MBBS, BDS courses (Group A) of NEET UG 2024’
Step 3: The pdf list will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Use the search option to find the candidate’s name.
Step 5: Download and save/print out the list for future purposes.
