MCC Pauses NEET UG 2025 Counselling Choice Filling
The Medical Council Committee (MCC) has paused the choice filling of NEET UG Counselling 2025 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm on July 23, 2025, due to some technical glitches and seat matrix issues.
Some seats were not currently visible in the seat matrix or during choice filling as a few colleges did not submit seat data in the required format. These will be added once corrected by the respective colleges.
Additionally, due to a technical glitch, some colleges’ seats appeared twice. MCC is removing these duplicate entries.
Candidates are advised to visit the MCC website regularly for further updates.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has initiated the online registration process for UG Medical counselling 2025. Candidates can go to the official website – mcc.nic.in to register using their NEET UG Roll Number, password, and security pin.
The NEET UG counseling takes place first in two rounds, followed by a stray vacancy round and a special stray vacancy round. Candidates will be able to apply for the MBBS, BDS, and other courses, including veterinary, life science, and nursing courses, using the NEET UG score.
Also, in another notice, MCC has informed about the addition of a new category for foreing/NRI students in BDS program, Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia University, from the Academic Year 2025-26. Such candidates, can apply for 2 seats in BDS program of JMI through MCC counselling based on NEET score.
