NEET UG Counselling 2025: Top UP Govt Medical Colleges, Total MBBS Seats, And Quota Distribution
The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, is likely to start the UP NEET UG counselling soon. The counselling will reportedly begin in the third week of July. Candidates will participate in the UP NEET counselling for 85% of the state quota seats. The counselling process involves multiple rounds, including a mop-up round.
Once open, those qualified for the NEET 2025 can visit the official website – upneet.gov.in for registration, fee payment, choice filling, and seat allotment. Candidates must log in using their NEET UG 2025 roll number and application number.
The UP NEET UG 2025 counselling will take place for MBBS/BDS and other courses for a total of 5250 MBBS seats, 70 Dental seats in the government medical colleges. A total of 6600 MBBS seats and 2150 BDS seats in private medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the NEET UG 2025 result on its official website – neet.nta.ac.in on June 14, 2025. This year, the AIR 1 is secured by Mahesh Kumar from Rajasthan with 686 marks.
