Medical Student Assaults Assistant Professor After Being Caught Cheating During Exam
A disturbing incident of violence against an educator has been reported from a local homeopathy college in Kalaburji, where a student allegedly assaulted an assistant professor after being caught cheating during an internal examination. The incident happened at Dr. Mallikaraddi Homoeopathic Medical College in Kalaburagi city.
The confrontation occurred during an internal exam. The student, identified as Shahbaz, was reportedly caught using a mobile phone to copy answers. Upon noticing the malpractice, the block supervisor, Assistant Professor Shivarajkumar, intervened by questioning the student and confiscating his answer script.
The assistant professor then directed the student to leave the examination hall immediately. Enraged by the disciplinary action, Shahbaz turned violent and physically assaulted Professor Shivarajkumar.

The sudden outburst caused significant distress within the college premises as faculty members and students witnessed the altercation.
The college administration has taken a firm stance on the misconduct by bringing the student’s behavior to the attention of his parents and officially deciding to debar him from appearing in any future examinations.
