Supreme Court will hear the petition to postpone the NEET PG 2024 examination filed by the medical students today. A 3-judge bench led by CJI DY Chandrachud will hear the matter after 10:30.
The NEET PG 2024 examination is set to be conducted on August 11, 2024, in two shifts. The petitioners said that many candidates appearing for the examination are allocated cities at inconvenient locations.
To prevent any exam-related malpractices the examination centres have been relocated but the short duration of 8 days was available to the candidates book arrange their travel and stay.

Along with the postponement of the examination, candidates are also seeking disclosure of the normalization formula for the four sets of question papers to prevent any possibility of arbitrariness in the examination.
With the exam scheduled for August 11, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has also written to Health Minister JP Nadda, urging him to address the concerns of the candidates promptly to avoid jeopardising the futures of nearly two lakh aspiring doctors.
