NIRF Rankings 2024: Top Law Institutes; Check List

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2024 for all the categories announced today. According to the list, National Law School of India University, Bengaluru secured first position. The Ministry of Education released the list and it will be available on the official website, www.nirfindia.org

Here’s the list of top Law Institutes in India:

  1. National Law School of India University, Bengaluru
  2. National Law University, Delhi
  3. Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad
  4. The West Bengal National University of Juridical Science, Kolkata
  5. Symbiosis Law School, Pune

The ranking evaluates top institutions in India across 13 different categories, including universities, colleges, research institutions, engineering, management, pharmacy, medical, dental, law, architecture and planning, agriculture and allied sectors, and innovation.

This year, three new categories, namely ‘open universities’, ‘Skill universities’ and ‘State funded government universities’, have been introduced. The Education Ministry plans to start ‘sustainability rankings’ from next year, AICTE chairperson, Anil Sahasrabudhe, said.

NIRF Ranking 2023: Top 10 Law Institutes

  1. National Law School of India University, Bengaluru
  2. National Law University, New Delhi
  3. Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad
  4. The West Bengal National University of Juridicial Sciences, Kolkata
  5. Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi
  6. Symbiosis Law School, Pune
  7. Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar
  8. Siksha `O` Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar
  9. Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, West Bengal
  10. Babasheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow

Last year, over 5,543 higher education institutions participated in the NIRF.
