Parents Protest Against Arbitrary Fee Hikes By Delhi Private Schools; Netizens Slams BJP Govt

Parents in Delhi are protesting against the fee hikes by private schools without any reasonable logic. The scenes of protesting parents are emerging from various schools in Delhi where they are arguing the school’s irrational decision to hike fees and prices of school uniform and books.

However, according to a 2024 Delhi government directive schools musk seek approval of thegovernment for fee increament. People have started targeting the ruling BJP government in the capital behind the recent increment in private schools.

Parents protested across various private schools in Delhi including Mother Divine School, Rohini; Indraprastha International School, Dwarka; Doon Public School, Paschim Vihar.

People are allegedly saying an increament of 40-50 thousand on the school expenditure of their wards. Private schools in Delhi have suddenly increased its fees and many parents can not afford it and protesting. Some parents mentioned how their kids are being bullied by the classfellow about not paying school fee on time.

Some parents allege that their children are being made to sit in the library of the school as the fee was not paid on time. People are demanding government to intervene.
