UGC NET December 2024 Application Window Closing Tomorrow
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will end the online application window for the UGC NET December 2024 tomorrow December 10. Candidates who are willing to apply for the test can submit their online applications on the official website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The NTA will conduct UGC-NET in December 2024 for 85 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The UGC-NET is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for (1) award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment of Assistant Professor (2) appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D and (3) admission to Ph.D only in Indian universities and colleges.
Candidates can apply for UGC – NET December 2024 in “Online” mode only. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted. Also, candidates are not allowed to fill out more than one Application Form.

Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin available on the NTA website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own or Parents/Guardians only, as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only.
UGC-NET December 2024: Important dates
- Submission of Online Application Form – 19 November 2024 to 10 December 2024 (up to 11:50 P.M)
- Last date for submission of Examination fee (through Credit Card/ Debit Card/Net Banking /UPI) – 11 December 2024 (up to 11:50 P.M)
- Date of Examination – 01 January 2025 to 19 January 2025
