UPSC CSE Preliminary Result 2024 Likely To Announce Today

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to announce the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 preliminary examination result soon. Candidates can check the result of the CSE prelim exam conducted on June 16, 2024, via the UPSC official website – upsc.gov.in. The official notification carrying the candidate’s names and roll numbers list will be uploaded by the UPSC.  However, the scores will not be revealed now as they are released with the UPSC CSE final result.

Candidates who qualify for the prelims stage will be eligible to appear for the next stage of the examination which is a written test (main examination). The prelims exam comprised two papers – paper 1, the general studies, and paper 2 – the CSAT exam, and the total marks are 400. The UPSC will conduct the main examination from September 20, 2024 onwards.

Last year, the examination was conducted on May 26, and the result was announced on June 12, 2024. This year’s exam was earlier scheduled to be held on May 27, however, later postponed due to the Lok Sabha elections.

  • Go to the UPSC official website – upsc.gov.in
  • click on the result link “UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2024”
  • A pdf will be downloaded carrying the names and roll numbers of the candidates.
  • Check the name and the roll number in the list.
  • Save the list for further reference.
