UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 Registration Last Date Extends Till Feb 21

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the last date of application for the Civil Service Preliminary Examination (CS (P) – 2025) and the Indian Forest Service Preliminary Examination (IFoS(P) – 2025. Candidates can register till February 21 at 6 pm by going on the official website – upsconline.gov.in. The application correction window will open on February 22 and close on February 28.

Earlier the last date of registration was February 11 which was further extended till February 17, 2025.

This year CSE 2025 will be held for nearly 979 vacancies to be filled through the examination. Candidates can visit the official website for further details.

Candidates must complete a one-time registration (OTR) before applying. The OTR remains valid for a lifetime. Candidates who have already registered can directly proceed with the application process.

The UPSC CSE 2025 Prelims is scheduled to be held on May 25, 2025, and the examination will be held in two stages: Preliminary and Mains (written examination and interview). The detailed syllabus and exam pattern can be accessed on the UPSC website.

UPSC CSE 2025: How to apply

Step 1: Go to the official website – upsconline.gov.in.

Step 2: Select the Civil Services Prelims 2025 link.

Step 3: Create a One-Time Registration (OTR) profile if not already done.

Step 4: Login with OTR credentials and fill out the application form.

Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit the form.

Step 6: Download and printout the confirmation page for further use.
