
UPSC CSE Prelims Result Likely To Be Announced Today; Here's How To Check
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to announce the results of the Civil Services Preliminary Examination (CSE) Prelims 2025 today, June 9, 2025. The UPSC CSE 2025 examination was held on May 25, 2025. Once the result is announced, candidates can check it via the official website – upsconline.nic.in.
Those who qualify for the exam must submit the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Mains examination scheduled to begin on August 22, 2025.
Prelims comprises of two papers, Paper 1 or General Studies Paper and Paper 2 or CSAT exam. Paper 2 is qualifying in nature, and candidates need to secure only 33% marks in this exam. Paper 1, which covers questions from history, polity, economy, geography, general awareness, and others, decides the selection of candidates.

Timeline reached out to the UPSC question paper analyst to know more about the expected cut-off of the UPSC CSE 2025 Prelims examination this year. As per the experts, the cut-off of the prelims examination is expected to be in the range of 82-85.
