The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBBSE) is announcing the class 10th result today, May 2, 2024. The result has been uploaded on the official website – wbchse.wb.gov.in. Once the link is activated at 9:45 AM, students can check their results.
The result is released by a press conference at the board’s office. Notably, the WB Madyamik exam was conducted from February 2 to 12, 2024. This year nearly 9.12 Lakh students appeared for the class 10th board exams.
Last year, the board exam result was released on May 19. However, due to the Lok Sabha elections the result has been announced earlier this year. The overall pass percentage in 2023 was 86.15 percent. Devdutta Majhi topped the board exams last year.
As per the passing criteria set up by the board, a student has to secure 272 marks out of a total of 800 marks. The grading system varies from AA to D which denotes performance from “outstanding” to “disqualified”.

Step 1: Go to the West Bengal Board official website – wbchse.wb.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the – WB Madhyamik exam result 2024 link given on the homepage
Step 3: Enter your credentials – roll number and date of birth and submit
Step 4: The result will be displayed on the screen
Step 5: Download and save or print the result
