WBCHSE Announces Class 12 Board Result 2024, Overall Pass Percentage Remains 90%

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced the class 12th result 2024 via a press conference today, May 8 at 1 PM. Students can check their results on the council’s official website – wbchse.wb.gov.in and the online mark sheets can be viewed from 3 PM onwards.

Abhik Das from Alipurduar secured rank 1 in the state board exams with an overall 99.2 percent mark. Soumya Deep Saha and Abhishek Gupto achieved 2nd and 3rd ranks respectively in the West Bengal Class 12th board exams. This year the highest number of toppers came from the Hoogly district. Hoogly district has 13 toppers followed by Bakura (9), South Dakhin Parganas (7), Kolkata (5), and East Bardhaman (4) toppers.

Nearly 7.5 lakh students registered for the class 12 exams in West Bengal. In the science stream, the pass percentage is 97.19% and in the minority students pass percentage remained at 86.97%.

The hard copies of the mark sheets and pass certificates will be distributed from May 10 at 55 distribution centers including 4 regional offices of the council. Students who want to apply for the scrutiny will get their revised results within 7 days. The Tatkal services will be activated form May 10 to May 13, 2004.

Step 1: Go to the West Bengal board’s official website – wbchse.wb.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the – Higher Secondary Examination Result 2024 – given on the homepage

Step 3: Enter your credentials – roll number, and date of birth and submit

Step 4: The result will be displayed on the screen

Step 5: Download and save or print the result
