An official from the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) warned about an often sighted practice of “CBSE Exam Result”, which are fake. The official said the rumors will circulate until the official dates of the result are announced. The official said, “there will be rumours till official dates are announced”.
Fake reports of CBSE exam results have been circulating in recent days. The fake circular said this: “The CBSE Class 10 results will be officially declared on the 1st of May 2024 between 1PM & 3PM.” Though the educational body has clarified that there are “no such news” and that the reports are “fake”, people often take the bait.
On May 1st, CBSE released a statement clarifying the widely circulated fake letter pad of the education board claiming the official declaration of the result. The statement called the news “fake and misleading.” As the students who attended the exam are eagerly waiting for their results, it is very easy to fall prey to the such fake click and feel dejected.
When the result will be officially published, it will be visible on the education Board”s official website, cbseresults.nic.in. As in the earlier practice, the students will be informed in advance officially by press statements by the CBSE before the announcement. Students will have to keep their roll number, school number and admit card ID number handy to check their results.
CBSE, one of the largest secondary education-cum-examination bodies in the world, held the annual examinations for over 39 lakh students from India and 26 countries abroad in February and March. In Delhi alone, 5,80,192 students from 877 examination centers attended the exam.
