The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 12 results for the academic year 2024-2025 today. Over 1.7 million students who appeared for the examinations can access their scores through multiple online platforms, including the official CBSE website, DigiLocker, and the UMANG app.

According to the board’s statement, the results will be hosted online with technical support from the National Informatics Centre (NIC) and the National e-Governance Division (NeGD). Students can check their scores via the following websites:

CBSE has introduced digital mark sheets and certificates through its repository, Parinam Manjusha, accessible via DigiLocker. Students can retrieve their documents immediately after the results are declared by visiting https://cbse.digitallocker.gov.in/. Schools affiliated with CBSE can also access their students’ academic records through the same portal using login credentials provided by the board.

For international students studying in CBSE-affiliated schools abroad, results can be checked through https://results.digilocker.gov.in/ or by raising a ticket on http://nad-support.digilocker.gov.in/ under the category “CBSE International Student 2025”.

Pass Percentage and Regional Performance

This year, the overall pass percentage has seen a marginal increase of 0.41%, rising from 87.98% in 2024 to 88.39% in 2025. A total of 1,692,794 students appeared for the exams, out of which 1,496,307 cleared them successfully.

Region-wise, Vijaywada topped the list with a 99.60% pass rate, followed closely by Trivandrum (99.32%) and Chennai (97.39%). Other high-performing regions included Bengaluru (95.95%), Delhi West (95.37%), and Chandigarh (95.06%). Meanwhile, Patna (82.86%), Bhopal (82.46%), and Noida (81.29%) recorded comparatively lower pass percentages.

Examination Schedule Recap

The CBSE Class 12 exams were conducted from 15 February to 4 April 2025, with core subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology taking place in late February and March. The board had earlier announced that results would be declared between 11 and 15 May, and the official declaration today aligns with this timeline.
