CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2024: Apply For Revaluation; Verification Window Closes Today

CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2024; Apply For The Revaluation; Verification Window Ends Today

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the “mark verification” window for class 12 students on today, May 21. Students who are not satisfied with their class 12 marks can apply for the given facility provided by the CBSE board.

Students unsatisfied with their performance can avail the facilities under three categories:

  1. Verify their marks
  2. Request to get the scanned copy of their answer book
  3. Request to re-evaluate their answers.

Notably, the class X board copies will be re-evaluated once the evaluation of class XII board copies are done.

CBSE board said that it took a large number of possible steps in assessment and in the preparation of results, but if students are still not satisfied with the evaluation or result, they can apply for the re-evaluation of copies. A candidate has to pay Rs 500 per subject to avail the marks verification process.

The supplementary exams for classes 10 and 12 will be conducted from July 15. Under the National Education Policy (NEP), 2020 students must be provided opportunities to improve their marks. Hence the provision of supplementary examination allows Class XII students to appear in one subject and Class X students to appear in any 2 subjects. Students who were unable to pass 1 subject and placed in compartment category are eligible to apply for the supplementary exams. Class XII students who have passed the exam but wants to improve their performance in 1 subject are also eligible to apply for the supplementary exams.
