CBSE Board Results Tomorrow? Here's What We Know

CBSE Board Results: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the Class 12 board examination results just now. Vijaywada secures highest pass percentage.

The students can check their result’s on board’s official website:  cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in.

The students who have failed in five external subjects in Class 12 will be eligible to sit for the compartment exam if they have cleared all internal exams.

To check the results via the websites:

  • Visit any of the official CBSE result portals.
  • Click on the link for Class 10 or Class 12 results.
  • Enter the required credentials including roll number, school number, date of birth, and admit card ID.
  • Submit the form to view the result.
  • Download and save or print a copy.

Unlike other state boards, CBSE has refrained from announcing the exam result in advance for nearly the past six years. It is said that this move has been practiced to avoid server disruption caused by a sudden surge in users and to manage website traffic effectively. Moreover, the move also helps in preventing misinformation and reducing anxiety among students and parents.

Meanwhile, Class 10 results are likely to be announced tomorrow. A source close to a CBSE school had confirmed that the results will be declared tomorrow.

However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the release of the results from the board officials. Previously, Class 10 and 12 results were announced in mid-May. When Timeline contacted a CBSE school principal regarding the matter, he had stated that there has been no official confirmation and no notification has been put up on the CBSE website as well.

The board has introduced a new grading system known as the Relative Grading System in order to relieve students from academic stress and mitigate unhealthy competition. The new marking is based on performance within a class.
