The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 12 results on Tuesday, May 13. This year, the results have been marked by several important milestones and achievements in the history of CBSE.

Ten Important Points From CBSE 12th Results

  1. This year’s CBSE Class 12 results have shown a slight improvement of 0.41% compared to last year, recording a pass percentage of 88.39%.
  2. Over 1.15 lakh students have scored above 90 percent marks, and over 24,000 candidates have achieved above 95 percent marks, according to the exam controller.
  3. Girls have once again outperformed boys with a pass percentage of over 91%, outperforming boys by 5. Previously, girls have outdone boys on several occasions.
  4. Vijayawada is on top with a 99.60 pass percentage when it comes to the region, and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti schools have once again secured top pass rates.
  5. The result shows a notable lead for the southern states, with Vijayawada In Andhra Pradesh, Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala and Chennai in Tamil Nadu getting top pass percentages.
  6. The transgender community’s results doubled to 100% from the 50% they secured in 2024, marking a significant jump in educational improvement among the community. All 100% of transgender candidates who appeared for the exam passed the test.
  7. The CBSE has this year discontinued the practice of announcing toppers’ lists for Class 10 and 12 examinations, due to alleged unhealthy competition among students.
  8. However, students who score exceptionally well may receive merit certificates, though there will be no official topper’s lists being published.
  9. To check the results, students can visit official websites: cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in. Students can also check results on digilocker.gov.in, and web.umang.gov.in.
  10. Students may then click on the relevant link for Class 10 or Class 12 results, enter their roll number, school number, date of birth, and admit card ID, and submit the details to view the result. They can download or print the provisional mark sheet
