Prime Minister Narendra Modi unleashed a vehement attack on Monday against Congress government in Chhattisgarh and said countdown for party”s exit in the state had confirmed after the first phase of elections. As the second phase of elections falls on November 17, PM Modi said farewell call to the grand old party”s bad rule has been finalised.
“The countdown of the Congress” “bidai” has begun now. The time has come for the farewell of those Congress leaders who have looted you for five years. The public of the state is more eager for the “bidai” of Congress from the state. The public doesn”t want Congress anymore,” ET quotes as Mr Modi is saying.
Prime Minister accused Bhupesh Baghel-led Congress government for widespread corruption. He says that Mr Baghel has looted, undertook corruption, and amassed large pile of money in the first two and half years of rule itself. Taking an aim at the purported power sharing equation decided between Chief Minister Baghel and Deputy Chief Minister TS Singh Deo, Prime Minister commented that if the party can ditch its own leaders and it definitely going to cheat people.
Mr Modi adds that people in the Media tells him that Mr Baghel is “losing his assembly seat.” He then promises that if the BJP government secures power he is definitely going to take steps against the corruption in the state. Besides, Mr Modi also accused the Congress for its direct involvement in the Mahadev betting app scandal.
Continuing further, he said that Congress hates him so much that it abuses the entire OBC community in his name.
“The Congress hates Modi. They have started hating even Modi”s caste. For the last several months, Congress has been abusing the entire OBC community in the name of Modi…They have even refused to apologise after a court directed them to do so,” PTI quotes as he is saying.
It shows how much detestation they have for OBC community; it is Congress insulted Babasaheb Ambedkar, and plotted to end his politics, he said. The party can do anything for vote bank and appeasement, PM Modi added.
He further thanked people of Chhattisgarh of voting in favour of the BJP in the phase 1 of the Assembly elections. The state will recognise quick push in development if BJP returns to power, Mr Modi said.
