Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday shared the pictures of Ayodhya city illuminated with millions of lamps and referred them as ‘amazing, supernatural and unforgettable’.

He shared the images through his official X handle. “The energy emanating from this is spreading new zeal and enthusiasm throughout India. I wish that Lord Shri Ram does well for all the countrymen and becomes an inspiration for all my family members. Jai Siya Ram,” he wrote on the tweet in Hindi.

Ayodhya witnessed grand ‘Deepotsav’ celebrations and was illuminated with lakhs of lamps. Ayodhya also set a record on Diwali. 22.23 lakh diyas, 6.47 lakh more than last year were lit up by 25,000 volunteers at the 51 ghats of Ram Ki Paidi along the Saryu river for the seventh edition of the Deepotsav. They have set a record by lighting large number of lamps simultaneously at one place.

After setting the Guinness Book of World records, Ayodhya echoed with ‘Jai Shri Ram’. The count of the lamps was taken with the help of drones and gave the status of world record to the city.
