Shive Sena Shinde leader Nilesh Rane has emerged victorious from Kudal constituency, as the counting of the Maharashtra assembly elections underway. Rane defeated sitting MLA and Sena UBT leader Vaibhav Naik by a margin of 8176 votes. The candidature of the son of former Kudal MLA and BJP MP Narayan Rane was analysed to be a formidable challenge to the incumbent MLA.
Notably, Nilesh had unleashed serious allegations against the sitting MLA, accusing him of intimidating workers and entrepreneurs and asserting that nothing will work after 20th, referring to the election date. He also conducted aggressive campaigns against Naik.
