“Muslim League Saved Him From Drowning…”: Asaduddin Owaisi To Rahul Gandhi After ‘BJP-BRS-AIMIM Partnership’ Claim
After senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi claimed a “partnership” among the BJP, the BRS and the AIMIM, Asaduddin Owaisi, leader of the Hyderabad-based party, declared an all-out attack on the Wayanad MP and Congress party.
The All India Majlis-i-Itehad ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader said as he was speaking at an event in Delhi: “Rahul Gandhi lost in Amethi but won in Wayanad. Asaduddin Owaisi did not contest elections there. I did not have any deal with the BJP there. He won from Wayanad because there is the Muslim League there. Muslim League saved him from drowning…”.
Yesterday, while addressing a massive rally in Hyderabad in which Sonia Gandhi announced six guarantees as poll promises, the former Congress president lashed out at the AIMIM saying wherever the Congress fights the BJP, it comes there to oppose the party (Congress) thus benefiting the BJP. “The BJP, the BRS and the AIMIM were all together in partnership,” he claimed.
Owaisi, who has asked BRS leader KCR to lead from front to make a “third front” against the INDIA bloc and NDA, questioned the Congress party asking why they are not standing up against the BJP on their ideology.
“We are not in the INDIA Alliance and I don”t care about it… It would be suffocating there. Why are they not standing up against the BJP on their ideology… They told that if they give us a ticket, they won”t get a Hindu vote… I am saying this openly, they say this behind closed walls,” he said.

Today morning as well, Rahul Gandhi repeated his allegation of the said “partnership” on an X post.
“Regardless of what the partnership of BJP-BRS-AIMIM does, the government in Telangana will change, and the Congress party will form a government that will deliver these 6 Guarantees to the people of the state. We are committed to ensuring a minimum standard of living for all, and this will be achieved through policy structures that distribute wealth to those standing last in the line,” he wrote.
Regardless of what the partnership of BJP-BRS-AIMIM does, the government in Telangana will change, and the Congress party will form a government that will deliver these 6 Guarantees to the people of the state.
