Nalaspora Election Result: Rajan Balkrishna Naik of BJP Leads

As per the current election commission report, Rajan Balkrishna Naik of the BJP party is leading in the Nalaspora assembly constituency of Maharashtra. By securing 80,418 votes so far, the BJP candidate is surpassing the sitting MLA Kshitij Hitendra Thakur.

With a margin of 13,353 votes, Kshitij Hitendra Thakur of Bahujan Vikas Aaghadi party (BVA) is trailing behind as he has secured 67,065 votes, as per the current reports. This election result seems to bring a change in the political environment of the constituency, as the BJP is surpassing the numbers of Kshitij Thakur, who won the past three elections.

In 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections, the total percentage of voters in Nalasopara Assembly Constituency was recorded at 57.1 percent. In 2019, Kshitij Hitendra Thakur of the Bahujan Vikas Aaghadi won the seat by defeating Pradeep Rameshwar Sharma of the Shiv Sena with a margin of 43729 votes.

Kshitij Hitendra Thakur won the seat for the third consecutive time as he secured 1,49,729 votes on the BVA ticket, whereas Pradeep secured 1,06,139 votes.
