In the Niphad assembly constituency of Maharashtra Dilip Shankararao Banker of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) won the election for the second consecutive time.
The incumbent MLA, Dilip has once again won in the constituency by securing a total of 1,20,253 votes. And Anil Sahebrao Kadam of the Shiv Sena (UBT) party was defeated securing 91,014 votes.

In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Bankar Diliprao Shankarrao of NCP won in this seat defeating Anil Sahebrao Kadam of SS by a margin of 17,612 which was 08.62% of the total votes cast for the seat. NCP had a vote share of 47.17% in 2019 in this seat.
In the 2014 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Anil Sahebrao Kadam of SS won in this seat defeating Bankar Diliprao Shankarrao of NCP by a margin of 3,921 which was 2.15% of the total votes cast for the seat. SS had a vote share of 42.77% in 2014 in this seat.
