Rajasthan Election Results: BJP's Hansraj Meena Wins Hindaun Assembly

In the 2023 Rajasthan Assembly election, Hansraj Meena of the BJP won the Sapotra constituency with 1,10,636 votes, defeating Ramesh Chand Meena of the INC. The Congress candidate received 66768 votes. Saportra witnessed a tough battle between the BJP and Congress. The BSP candidate, who came in third, has garnered 11,270 votes.

The elections to the Rajasthan State Assembly were held on November 25, 2023, for 199 seats. In 2018 assembly elections held in Saportra, Ramesh Chand Meena of the INC won the elections. In that election, Ramesh Chand Meena got 76399 votes in Sapotra, and the BJP received 62295 votes. The constituency had 249633 voters during the 2018 elections.

In 2013, Ramesh Chand Meena of the BJP defeated Rishikesh with 52555. The total electorate was 2,13,158 in 2013. In Rajasthan, voting took place only in 199 constituencies as the Election Commission adjourned the election in the Karanpur constituency following the death of the Congress candidate. Along with Rajasthan, the Assembly elections were held in four other states, including Madhya Pradesh, Telengana, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram.
