Calling upon booth-level convenors, party members, and volunteers, Vijay urged them to step into the field and engage directly with voters. He specifically appealed to cadres to conduct door-to-door campaigns over the next ten days, meeting people in their localities every morning and evening. He asked them to personally connect with voters and request their support for TVK candidates by voting for the party’s whistle symbol.
The TVK chief also instructed state and district-level administrators to extend full cooperation to candidates and ensure coordinated efforts on the ground.
Stressing the importance of unity and inclusiveness, he encouraged party workers to “embrace everyone” and communicate the broader vision behind the campaign. According to Vijay, this election is “for a grand change” and “an election for a generation,” urging supporters to dedicate themselves selflessly to the cause.

Framing the polls as a “battle to establish democracy,” Vijay expressed confidence that the people of Tamil Nadu would come together to usher in what he described as “true people’s rule.”
Ending his message on an optimistic note, he declared that “history, adorned with garlands of glory, is turning back” and asserted that “victory is certain.”
The upcoming Tamil Nadu elections, which are scheduled for April 23 (Thursday), are witnessing an intense multi-cornered contest, with established players like Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) continuing to dominate the political arena, while national parties such as Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Indian National Congress remain key stakeholders through alliances.
The emergence of TVK under Vijay has added a new dynamic to the electoral battle, drawing significant attention, especially among younger voters and first-time participants.
