Mollywood actor Mohanlal has reportedly been admitted to a hospital in Kochi due to high fever and other symptoms. According to medical reports, the actor is suspected of having a viral respiratory infection.
The 64-year-old actor has been discharged from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences after his treatment. Reportedly, actor suffered from breathing issues, high fever, and myalgia (pain in the muscles). The Barroz actor has been advised to take medication as per the prescription and to avoid crowed places.

The medical satement reads, “He (Mohanlal) is suspected to have a viral respiratory infection. He has been advised to take medications with 5 days rest and to avoid crowded places, dated August 16, and signed by Dr Gireesh Kumar KP, Professor of Medicine at Amrita.”
The actor who recently returned to Kochi from Gujarat After finishing the shoot for L2: Empuraan and the post-production of his directorial debut Barroz, was in the need of medical assistance as his condition worsened on his return.

On the work front, the actor is looking forward to his upcoming launch Barroz, which is slated to hit the theaters on this October 3. The film, originally slated for release in March 2023, has faced several delays. On Saturday, the actor also announced the release date with an intriguing poster.
