Actress Minu Kurian Alleges Mukesh, Jayasurya, Maniyanpilla Raju, Idavela Babu Of Sex Assault
After the release of Hema Committee report, one more actress has come up with serious allegations against some of the big names of Malayalam film industry. Actress Minu Kurian (aka Minu Muneer) alleged that she was “subjected to physical and verbal abuse” by actors Mukesh, Jayasurya, Maniyanpilla Raju and Idavela Babu while she was working on a project in the past. The actress made the allegations in a Facebook reel.
Latest, Minu told the media that the first bad experience happened in 2008. The misbehavior was on the part of Jayasurya. The shooting was in the Secretariat. She alleged that when she was coming back from the restroom, Jayasurya hugged and kissed her from behind and invited her to come to his Thiruvananthapuram flat. She also said there was no further disturbing incidents from the National Awards winning actor.

The actress said that she was afraid to tell anyone about this.
“By 2013, I had acted in 6 films. If you act in 3 movies, you will get membership in AMMA organisation. When I called Idavela Babu on the phone, he invited me to the flat to fill the form. While he was filling the form, he kissed me on my neck. I left the flat suddenly and I did not get AMMA membership”.
“Later, actor Mukesh called me on the phone and spoke badly. Mukesh spoke badly even in person. He invited me to go to his villa. I never spoke to Mukesh again. Maniyanpillai Raju also misbehaved when we traveled together and spoke to me badly. Once he even knocked on the door of my room where I was staying”.

She also accused production controllers Noble and Vichu, and an Advocate Chandrasekaran of misbehaviour. The actress revealed to the media that she was tired of everything and then went to Chennai.
The actress said that she is speaking openly after the government suggested that more people should come forward to reveal the mishaps in the film.
Meanwhile, responding to allegations, Maniyanpilla Raju told media that proper investigations are necessary since the complainants may include those denied of chances in movies, financial gains in mind. Those who commit offences should be known but those who have not committed can also be trapped.
