'Alappuzha Gymkhana' Set To Release Soon – Meet The Gym Team Behind The Punches!
Alappuzha Gymkhana, directed by Khalid Rahman, is gearing up for its much-anticipated release on 10th April 2025.
The film follows a quirky group of young students who decide to pursue college admissions through the sports quota after failing their plus-two exams. Their chosen sport? Boxing.
Though they are complete novices, from district-level competitions to the serious boxing ring, can these underdogs actually make it?
The film is expected to deliver a mix of laughter, emotion, and plenty of punches, with the trailer, which has already garnered over 6 million views, promising a chaotic and entertaining experience similar to Khalid Rahman’s previous hit, Thallumaala.

Alappuzha Gymkhana boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Naslen Gafoor, Lukman Avaran, Ganapathi, Sandeep Pradeep, Anagha Ravi, as the Gym rivals headed by Kottayam Nazeer.
Written by Khalid Rahman and Sreeni Saseendran, the film is produced by Khalid Rahman, Jobin George, Sameer Karat, and Subeesh Kannanchery.
The film’s music is composed by Vishnu Vijay, with lyrics penned by Suhail Koya. The Director of Photography is Jimshi Khalid, and the editing part has been carried out by Nishadh Yusuf.
