‘Alapuzhya Gymkhanna’: Netizens Hail It As The Vishu Winner

Alappuzha Gymkhana, Khalid Rahman’s latest directorial, has hit the theaters today. The Malayalam sports drama has been a highly anticipated release. With the bunch of talent in the lead role, including audience favourite Naslen after his marvelous performance in Thaneer Mathan Dinangal, the film had drawn significant attention. Apart from him, the film boasts a lively ensemble cast featuring Naslen, Lukman Avaran, Ganapathi S. Poduvai, Sandeep Pradeep, Anagha Ravi, Franco Francis, Baby Jean, and Shiva Hariharan.

Soon after the movie had hit the big screens, X has been flooded with comments. Many have commented it to be the “younger version of Thallumaala,” another masterpiece from Khalid Rahman which narrated the story of a chain of fights among a young group living in Malappuram.

Most of the netizens have hailed the first half of the film, noting it to be engaging than the second half of the film.“Alappuzha Gymkhana pretty good engaging first half. Simple plot , neat execution and dialogues,” one user added.
